Technical Business Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Business Analyst for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining a Treasury team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be subject to multiple critical regulations and going through a Technology Transformation Journey to build and adopt General capabilities for Data Ingestion, Rules Authoring & Execution, and Analytics capabilities. This project that requires meticulous design to replace multiple legacy applications. This individual must possess strong regulatory reporting and data-focused expertise in order to translate these business requirements into technical requirements. These applications will also house some critical regulatory programs such as Basel IV, & FRTB. Candidates must have very strong communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

Strong Regulatory Reporting knowledge and expertise

Technical delivery and project delivery experience

Agile environment experience (jira, user stories, sprint ceremonies)

Strong SQL database knowledge (SELECT statements, joins, subqueries, aggregations, data validations, etc.)

ETL and Data processing workflow knowledge (to include an understanding of data lineage, dependencies, and impact analysis) Hadoop and Oracle Database knowledge

Regulatory or Financial Reporting systems

Data warehousing, reporting platforms, or reconciliations tools
