Data Fraud Analyst

We operate in various regions (BR, AR, MX, CO, CH) and fronts (fintech, e-commerce, and logistics), always combining technology, data, and strategy to face risk and fraud challenges on a large scale. The Data Fraud Analyst will have a direct role in developing data solutions that support the operation to decide, in an agile and assertive way, if a case is fraud or not. They will also be an essential part of our evolution in merchant and consumer risk, helping to transform information into real impact in the daily life of Nuvemshop.

The Size of Your Challenge

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT);
• Structure and optimize the data warehouse/lakehouse with a focus on performance and governance;
• Create and maintain analytical models using tools like dbt, SQL, and Python;
• Work in collaboration with data engineering, analysts, and data scientists;
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the data made available for analytical use;
• Document data processes and structures;
• Support the democratization of data use within the organization.

What We Are Looking For

• Analytical profile (data driven) and capacity to solve complex problems;
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise;
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) and versioning tools (Git);
• Knowledge of orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect);
• Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.);
• Ability to understand business demands and translate them into technical solutions;
• Knowledge of good software engineering practices applied to data;
• Experience with programming languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python);
• Knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.);
• Experience in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
