This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and supporting customers in a technical field environment.If you have experience with industrial equipment, mechanical or electrical maintenance, process controls, compressors, or similar systems, we encourage you to apply.What We OfferLinde offers competitive pay and a strong benefits package, including:Health, dental, disability, and life insurancePaid holidays and vacation401(k) matchingPension benefitsEmployee discount programEducational and professional development opportunitiesCareer growth with a global industry leaderWhat You'll DoAs an Industrial Field Service Technician, you will:Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nitrogen-producing plants at customer sitesPerform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, control systems, and related equipmentDiagnose field issues and complete repairs with minimal supervisionCommunicate clearly with customers and provide technical support as neededMaintain safety, quality, and compliance standardsCoordinate contractors, resources, audits, and site-related administrative tasksPlan and prioritize work to keep plant operations running smoothlyWhat We're Looking ForQualified candidates will ideally have:High school diploma or equivalentAssociate degree in a technical field preferred2–5 years of operations, maintenance, field service, process control, or related industrial experienceMechanical and electrical troubleshooting experienceExperience with compressors, instrumentation, control systems, or industrial equipmentStrong safety mindset and ability to follow proceduresAbility to read or understand process control schematicsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft applicationsStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsMilitary engineering or technical experience is a plus.Physical & Schedule RequirementsThis role may require:Lifting up to 50 poundsClimbing, working at heights, and entering confined spacesDriving a service truckWorking in a mix of field, plant, office, and customer-site environmentsFlexibility for extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage when neededWhy Join Linde?Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
