Location: Durham, NC

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + Bonuses & Benefits

Are you a culinary leader with a passion for authentic Mexican flavors and experience managing high-volume operations? We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Back of House (BOH) operations in Durham. Join a vibrant work environment where creativity and leadership drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee BOH Operations : Ensure kitchen efficiency, safety standards, and smooth daily operations.
Lead and Train Culinary Team : Mentor and foster a positive, collaborative work culture.
Menu Innovation : Design and implement seasonal menus that celebrate authentic Mexican cuisine.
Financial Management : Manage inventory, labor costs, and vendor relationships to maintain profitability.
Quality Control : Maintain rigorous standards to ensure every dish exceeds expectations.
Team Collaboration : Partner with Front of House (FOH) management to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

Experience : 2+ years as an Executive Chef in authentic Mexican or similar cuisine.
High-Volume Expertise : Proven success in operations generating $1.5M+ in annual sales.
Passion for Culinary Craftsmanship : Driven to innovate and elevate team performance.
Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
