Job Description
As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will play a crucial role in patient counseling regarding medication use, potential side effects, interactions, and adherence strategies. Collaborating with behavioral health providers and care teams, you will support treatment plans to improve patient outcomes. Your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service with a patient-centered and compassionate approach while ensuring compliance with all State Board of Pharmacy rules, DEA requirements, and company policies.
Responsibilities

• Dispense medications prescribed by physicians, nurse practitioners, and other licensed providers in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, interactions, and adherence strategies.
• Collaborate with behavioral health providers and care teams to support treatment plans and improve outcomes.
• Deliver a high level of customer service with a patient-centered, compassionate approach.
• Ensure compliance with all State Board of Pharmacy rules, DEA requirements, and company policies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in pharmacy operations and fulfillment.
• Experience with mail order pharmacy.
• PharmD qualification.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with filling prescriptions.
• Ability to handle phone work efficiently.

Work Environment
The work schedule includes shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 8.75 hours per day. The work environment is patient-centered and requires adherence to professional dress code standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Myers, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
