Build Our Future Together The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity-driven performance. Overview This role involves developing and executing account strategies to grow market share, building relationships with clinicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners to address customer needs and market dynamics. The MS supports sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events. Location Field Based – Atlanta North (Metro), GA Responsibilities Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography, delivering clinically focused selling messages to launch product and grow brand share and revenue. Partner with multiple stakeholders—including Reimbursement and Access Specialists—to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends, developing strategies that support brand and corporate objectives. Develop strong working relationships with customers, collaboration colleagues, and internal contacts such as clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders. Conduct rare neurology‑specific market profiling activities to understand regional and local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems. Show deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions). Apply strategic account selling and management skills; develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans to reach objectives. Ensure all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products. Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share. Proactively identify business opportunities and lead coordination by the account team, including supporting contracting pull‑through with accounts. Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and stakeholder integration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree mandatory; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus. Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products; launch experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations focused on Neurology. Proven track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with high integrity and within compliance guidelines. Results oriented with a proven track record of success with product launches. Strong account management experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills. Experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace.
