Manufacturing Engineering Manager II

Job Summary This position will work 5 days/week onsite in Anoka, MN. You will lead a team supporting our Data Center Solutions product category, focused on liquid cooling distribution systems, and will be responsible for scaling production, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost within a primarily manual assembly environment with opportunities to expand automation. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, establishing priorities, developing talent, and building technical capability across the team. Guide and support the team in the execution of manufacturing engineering projects, setting priorities and ensuring work is aligned to production goals including throughput, yield, and delivery. Own the planning, prioritization, and execution of capital projects and equipment investments, ensuring alignment to business needs and long‑term manufacturing strategy. Drive initiatives to advance manufacturing capability through automation, tooling, and production line improvements that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Partner with NPI and multi‑functional teams to industrialize new products, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and readiness for full‑scale production. Lead continuous improvement efforts using data and structured problem‑solving tools (SPC, root cause analysis, Gage R&R, Cpk) to improve process capability and reduce defects. Monitor and drive performance of key manufacturing metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, delivery, and safety. Promote a strong safety culture and lead efforts to address complex issues, guide decisions, and implement process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field. At least 7 years of related engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an engineering leadership role preferred. Proven ability to lead teams across multiple functions to deliver sophisticated engineering projects from concept through production. Experience with automation and equipment integration, including a working understanding of control systems (e.g., PLC controls) and how systems interact across a manufacturing line. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, forming, molding) and product/process development methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Lean). Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to influence across functions and drive alignment. Compensation Range $105,000.00 – $195,000.00, with potential for annual incentives and other forms of compensation.
