We’re seeking a Tax Manager with a strong background in complex tax matters to help lead engagements, mentor staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. As a Tax Manager , you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This is a hybrid remote position based out of either our Frederick, MD , Westminster, MD or Hanover, PA office locations. Requirements Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings, minimizing tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex tax issues, staying up-to-date with the tax laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely guidance. Review and supervise the preparation of taxes ensuring precision and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Thorough knowledge of the tax issues facing privately held Corporations, S Corporations and Partnerships, including state tax matters, especially in the areas of tax compliance, tax accounting and consulting services. Knowledge of individual tax returns and the interplay of corporate and owner tax regulations. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Advanced degree preferred. Current CPA Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience preferably in a public accounting firm. Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools (e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax) is highly desirable. Valid drivers license or reliable transportation. The pay range for this Manager position is $115,000 to $135,000 and is intended to give candidates an overview of the potential compensation for this role.
