Description

Duties & Functions:

• Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approval, and timely entry into the accounting system.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payment processing, and other accounts payable activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files, records, and documentation.
• Record, retrieve, and distribute data as needed.
• Complete miscellaneous accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of: Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Great Plains; Basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Skill in: Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Organizational and recordkeeping skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to: Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment; Interact professionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: Targeted pay range of $44,000-$50,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School or better.

Preferred: Associates or better in Accounting.

Experience

Preferred: 1 year of accounts payable or general accounting experience
