The position offers an opportunity to gain broad exposure to a range of private asset classes (e.g., private equity, venture capital, real estate) as well as an understanding of the various market participants, including leading institutional investors, fund managers, intermediaries and service providers.Responsibilities and DutiesWork directly with senior team members to source, track and convert opportunities related to the firm's products and servicesOrganize and conduct marketing and sales campaigns helping to build and maintain new and existing relationships with potential clientsPrepare pre-call and pre-meeting notes, ensuring all necessary materials and information is ready ahead of calls and meetings with leading institutional investors, fund managers, intermediaries and other potential stakeholdersPrepare potential client follow-up materials, including presentations, proposals, overlap analyses, reference lists, etc., to address monitoring, diligence, valuation and other consulting needsAssist with trial setup, including performing overlap analysis, managing the fund selection process, configuring trial access settings, and handling initial formatting and dashboard changesMaintain accurate records and pipeline activity based on account interactions, opportunities, and prospective and current client contractsWork seamlessly with other LP Analyst teams (e.g., Onboarding, Development, Client Coverage, Fund Coverage, Operations) to ensure that all prospective client requests, feedback and inquiries are managed appropriatelyContribute to the firm's various marketing, branding and social media initiatives, including maintenance of social media accounts and assisting with conference preparationsQualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field (GPA of 3.3+)0-3 years of business-related experience (e.g., investments, valuation, consulting, back office, research, banking)Strong understanding of financial markets and the investment processStrong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and functions (VBA / macros considered a plus)Strong PowerPoint proficiency and experience working on 'client-ready' deliverablesHigh attention to detail and overall technical aptitude with systems for analysis, reporting, storage and measurement of large data setsStrong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to work as part of a growing team to constantly implement and improve processes and technologiesHigh self-motivation with ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and seek additional leadership rolesExcellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude, energy and overall enthusiasm for private assets and financial analyticsWhy LP Analyst?Comprehensive onboarding and training programs, including a structured Private Asset Training Program and regular business/industry teach-insEarly opportunities for advancement for top-performing analystsOpportunity to build valuable professional skills early in your career, including communication, organization, and leadership, by working on a dynamic and growing team with cross-functional exposureExposure to a wide range of strategies (private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, credit), with the opportunity to specialize in areas of interestHigh-impact role providing transparency to the world's leading institutional investorsCollaborative, high-performing team culture with smart, supportive colleaguesCompany-sponsored 401(k) plan, healthcare, and dental insuranceCompetitive compensation and fully paid parental leaveGenerous paid time off that increases with tenure, plus an annual volunteer dayCasual dress code, frequent team events, and a downtown Dallas office with paid parking, free snacks, and other perks
