As the Business Process Analyst you play an important role in helping us fulfill this mission by analyzing, designing, implementing, and continuously improving DHA business processes, enterprise applications, and technology solutions to increase operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, data quality, and user adoption. Develops functional expertise and serves as a subject matter expert for assigned DHA enterprise applications, including Voyager, CRM systems, Bob.AI, program management software, and other business platforms.Develops, modifies, and supports operational reports and data visualizations using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting (YSR), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, or similar platforms.Writes and executes basic SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot application and operational data in support of reporting, system testing, and business process analysis.Leads or supports application implementations, configurations, testing, upgrades, deployments, and post-implementation stabilization.Configures and maintains assigned business applications within authorized administrative permissions and coordinates with Information Technology staff, vendors, and business units on enhancements and issue resolution.Analyzes application and process performance, troubleshoots system issues, identifies root causes, and recommends or coordinates corrective actions.Designs and implements technology-based solutions that automate routine processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational effectiveness.Develops and maintains process maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, implementation guides, release documentation, job aids, and other technical or operational documentation.Supports software integrations, data validation, system testing, and business process validation during application implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.Monitors application functionality and utilization, evaluates opportunities to expand system capabilities, and recommends improvements that increase effectiveness and user adoption.Maintains current knowledge of assigned applications, product releases, new functionality, and emerging technologies relevant to DHA operations.Provides technical guidance, system demonstrations, implementation support, and knowledge transfer to end users regarding application functionality, technology updates, and revised business processes.Supports the relationship between DHA and its constituent population by demonstrating courteous, cooperative, and professional behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, vendors, and DHA staff.Demonstrates effective customer service, communication, cooperativeness, adaptability, and dependability skills.Actively supports and promotes a demonstrated understanding of agency standards and expectations.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of DHA organization, operations, policies and procedures.Knowledge of business process analysis, workflow analysis, process improvement methodologies, and internal control procedures and standards.Knowledge of enterprise business applications, application configuration, system implementation, and software lifecycle concepts.Knowledge of requirements gathering and techniques for translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.Knowledge of relational databases, data structures, and basic SQL query concepts.Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as YSR, SSRS, Power BI, or similar platforms.Knowledge of application integration concepts, including interfaces, data mapping, APIs, file-based integrations, and data exchange between enterprise systems.Knowledge of application security concepts, user access controls, roles, permissions, and appropriate segregation of duties.Skill in analyzing complex business processes and identifying opportunities for technology-enabled improvement.Skill in translating complex business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.Skill in writing basic SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.Skill in developing, modifying, and validating operational reports and data visualizations.Skill in analyzing data, identifying discrepancies and trends, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Skill in configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise business applications.Skill in developing process maps, workflows, requirements documentation, test plans, procedures, and other technical documentation.Skill in troubleshooting application and data-related issues and determining appropriate solutions or escalation paths.Skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams, Information Technology staff, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.Skill in providing technical guidance, system demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and implementation support to DHA team members.Skill in managing multiple assignments and different social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in Information Technology or Business or a related field, and two (2) years of process analysis and process
