Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Emergency Preparedness Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, entry points, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control discrepancies or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements.
- Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site stakeholders, and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
