Blackstone Data Science Consultant

ATG is looking for two data scientists and/or business intelligence developers working on cutting-edge systems in Blackstone's hedge fund group. Most of the developers are on-site at the Blackstone offices in New York, working alongside the business users. The position is through ATG Financial Technologies. ATG provides full-time on-site developers and other technology consultants for Blackstone's Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) division at the Park Avenue headquarters. BXMA has the largest fund-of-hedge-funds program in the world and direct-trading hedge funds as well. ATG has provided consultants to Blackstone for 25 years to help them build their industry-leading customized solutions. BXMA Data Science team provides in-depth data analysis and reporting for the BXMA investment teams. As a data scientist, you will develop important analyses and reports using Tableau connected to Snowflake databases with many various data sources. You will be expected to know or learn SQL, python, and use various REST APIs and other technologies to facilitate reporting used by the top managers and executives at Blackstone. You will work with them closely to customize the reports. You must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. Master's degree in a relevant subject is preferred.
