Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU RN - Travel Nurse, Tacoma, Washington TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) unit in Tacoma, Washington. The position begins on 07/27/2026 and lasts 13 weeks (36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts). Responsibilities Provide critical care to sick and premature infants, working with the care team to support patients and parents. Assist in round‑the‑clock care of infants, including monitoring vital signs and initiating corrective action. Perform nutritional assessment and specialized feedings, change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Administer arterial and intravenous therapy. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators. Stand, walk and bend for long periods, and lift 10‑20 pounds of equipment as needed. Requirements BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, 2 years of recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
