Hiring: Social Media Growth Strategist — Personal Brand We’re looking for an exceptional Social Media Growth Strategist to take full strategic ownership of an established personal brand with 250,000+ followers, primarily across Instagram and TikTok. This is not a company social media role. You will be working directly with a personality-led personal brand in the wellness and longevity space. The goal is simple: Turn an already-large personal brand into a significantly bigger one. That means understanding the person behind the account—their voice, opinions, expertise, lifestyle, audience and personality—and turning all of it into content people want to watch, share, debate, save and follow. We don’t need someone to simply post content. We need someone constantly asking: What should she talk about next? What is her strongest opinion on this? What’s the hook? What will make someone send this to a friend? What will create conversation? What worked last week? What should we double down on? What should we stop doing? What You’ll Own Own the personal brand’s Instagram and TikTok growth strategy. Build and manage the complete content calendar. Develop original content concepts and scripts. Provide at least 3 strong hooks for every major piece of content. Develop cover titles, captions and CTAs designed for reach and engagement. Analyze historical content and identify exactly what performed, why, and what should be repeated or expanded. Research viral content and emerging formats every day. Track what leading creators and personal brands are doing. Identify conversations and trends the personal brand should have an opinion on. Analyze competitors’ highest-performing content and explain why it worked. Study comments on viral posts to understand what people disagree with, question, fear, want and share. Turn those insights into original content, rather than simply copying trends. Use AI tools daily for research, ideation, analysis, hook development and testing. Manage the video editor directly. Create detailed briefs covering the hook, structure, pacing, visual direction, edits, cover and CTA. Review finished content before publishing. Review analytics weekly and translate the numbers into specific changes. Manage community engagement across comments and DMs. Work directly with the personal brand every day to brainstorm and rapidly develop ideas. The Person We Want You live and breathe social media. You notice a viral format and immediately understand why it worked. You can look at a Reel with 10 million views and break down the hook, retention, emotion, controversy, shareability and audience psychology behind it. You don’t wait for someone to tell you what to post. You come in saying: “I found this last night. It’s exploding. Here’s why. Here’s our angle. Here are three hooks. Let’s shoot it today.” That’s the level of ownership we’re looking for. What Success Looks Like You become the strategic brain behind the personal brand’s social growth. Every week, you should be able to tell us: Here’s what worked. Here’s why. Here’s what didn’t. Here’s what we’re doubling down on. Here’s what we’re testing next. The objective isn’t simply more content. It’s more reach, more shares, more conversation, more followers and a much bigger personal brand. Requirements Required: Proven experience scaling an already-established personal brand, creator or influencer account with 200,000+ followers. You must provide: The account size when you became involved. The account size after your involvement. Your exact role in that growth. Screenshots from Instagram/TikTok Insights or analytics dashboards. Examples of content you personally strategized. An explanation of why that content performed. You should also have: Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok growth. Strong understanding of hooks, retention, shares, saves and follower conversion. Experience managing video editors. Excellent creative direction skills. Strong analytical skills. Daily experience using AI for social media strategy and research. The ability to work extremely quickly and iterate without ego. Excellent communication skills. Looking Ahead The role will initially focus heavily on Instagram and TikTok. Over time, it will expand into YouTube and the broader personal-brand ecosystem, with the opportunity to become the person responsible for social growth across every major platform.
