Project Manager - Commercial Electrical Construction

Commercial Electrical Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role will have full ownership of project schedules, budgets, procurement, field coordination, cost control, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.The ideal candidate has extensive experience working for an electrical contractor or electrical subcontractor, understands commercial electrical systems and construction practices, and can independently manage multiple projects while maintaining strong financial and operational performance.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects from contract award through final completionDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, labor forecasts, procurement plans, and cost projectionsCoordinate daily project needs with Superintendents, Foremen, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliersServe as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, inspectors, and other project stakeholdersReview electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documentationMonitor project costs, labor productivity, forecasts, and overall profitabilityIdentify and resolve schedule, budget, procurement, manpower, and field coordination issuesLead project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, milestones, financial performance, and project risksCoordinate material purchasing, equipment deliveries, subcontractor schedules, and other project logisticsPrepare, negotiate, track, and manage change orders while ensuring additional work is properly documented and approvedSupport inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list activities, and final project turnoverEnsure projects comply with applicable electrical codes, contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and project partners
