Wellness Director / Director of Nursing (LPN) Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons – St. Clairsville, OH Employment Type: Full-Time Senior Suites at St. Clair Commons is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as the Wellness Director / Director of Nursing. In this role, you will oversee all clinical operations within our assisted living community while ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered care in a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assisted living community. Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations, company policies, and assisted living standards. Complete resident assessments, develop individualized service plans, and conduct ongoing care evaluations. Coordinate physician orders, medication management, and resident healthcare services. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers. Develop staff schedules and assist with staffing needs to ensure appropriate coverage. Participate in resident admissions, move-ins, care conferences, and discharge planning. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers. Monitor resident health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records. Promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, accountability, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare preferred. Experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or senior living strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Ohio assisted living regulations and clinical compliance requirements. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems. Ability to effectively lead and develop a multidisciplinary team.
