Electrical Assembler

Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Assembler to support the production of custom-built fixtures and display systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for recent technical school graduates or candidates with at least one year of manufacturing assembly experience who are interested in developing skills in electrical and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities
*Perform assembly of shelving systems, display fixtures, overhead canopies, bases, control boxes, and related components
*Complete electrical pre-assembly work to support final wiring and installation activities
*Assist with rough wiring of junction boxes and fixture assemblies following work instructions and drawings
*Support electrical technicians with preparation, layout, and assembly tasks
*Assist mechanical assemblers and fabrication personnel as production needs require
*Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production schedules to complete assigned work accurately
*Organize and maintain inventory of assembly supplies, hardware, and materials
*Inspect completed work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
*Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
*Support additional production and assembly activities as assigned

Requirements

*High school diploma or equivalent required
*Pennco Tech graduates are encouraged to apply
*Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience preferred
*Interest in electrical and mechanical assembly work
*Ability to use common hand and power tools
*Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and measurements
*Strong attention to detail and quality
*Good organizational and communication skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform assembly work throughout the shift
