Travel X-Ray Technologist Assignment | Ithaca, NY

A travel X-Ray Technologist is needed for a full-time contract assignment in Ithaca, New York. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced radiologic technologist comfortable working across a broad range of diagnostic, fluoroscopy, trauma, OR, and interventional procedures in a busy hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: Can start as soon as possible
• Schedule: Full-time
• Shift: To be confirmed
• Department Environment:
  • 3 X-Ray rooms
  • 1 Interventional Radiology room
  • 1 Pain Clinic room
  • Coverage includes OR, ER, inpatient, and walk-in X-ray services
  • 212-bed facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray experience
• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• New York State License required
• Strong experience with:
  • Routine diagnostic radiography
  • Fluoroscopy procedures including barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, and hysterosalpingograms
  • Trauma and Operating Room procedures
  • Sterile technique and radiation safety practices
• Experience assisting with IR procedures such as:
  • Nephrostomy tubes
  • Drainage catheter placement
  • Power port removals
  • Tunneled catheters
  • Pelvic venograms
  • Additional interventional procedures
• Must be self-motivated with strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome
