THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Inspector to oversee public works and capital projects. This position involves ensuring that all construction activities adhere to approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory standards. As a key field representative, you will work closely with the City, contractors, engineers, utility providers, developers, and property owners to facilitate successful project delivery while safeguarding public interests. In this role, you will conduct detailed inspections of construction sites, evaluate materials and artistry, and monitor contractor compliance. The responsibilities will also include documenting project activities, conducting field testing and inspections, and preparing comprehensive project reports.
