Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position in Forest City, NC. This role offers the opportunity to support pharmaceutical operations by accurately distributing prescribed medications while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
Provide customers with clear information about their medications and proper usage
Maintain a high standard of customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient workflow and inventory management

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly advantageous
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the specified contract week
