Are you an experienced medical biller who enjoys solving problems, following claims through to payment, and being part of a supportive healthcare team?

We are a busy, established Internal Medicine and Rheumatology practice with four providers seeking a motivated Medical Biller to manage our full-cycle billing and collections process. We value teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient care—and we're looking for someone who shares those values.

What You'll Do

As our Medical Biller, you'll take ownership of the revenue cycle by:

• Managing full-cycle medical billing from claim submission through payment and collections
• Reviewing, correcting, and submitting insurance claims accurately and promptly
• Investigating and resolving denied or rejected claims
• Following up with insurance carriers on outstanding accounts
• Working accounts receivable to maximize timely reimbursement
• Posting insurance and patient payments
• Preparing and reviewing patient statements
• Working with providers and office staff to resolve billing discrepancies
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations
• Identifying opportunities to improve billing efficiency and reimbursement

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• At least 2 years of medical billing experience (preferred)
• Experience in Internal Medicine and/or Rheumatology strongly preferred
• Proven experience with full-cycle medical billing and collections
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, and claim appeals
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Experience using EHR and practice management software
