Position Summary

The Dental Laboratory Technician is responsible for fabricating high-quality full and partial dentures , including setting teeth, waxing, wire bending, finishing, processing, and other removable prosthetic procedures. This role requires craftsmanship, precision, and the ability to produce quality restorations while maintaining production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish.
• Set denture teeth with proper esthetics and function.
• Perform waxing, festooning, processing, finishing, and polishing procedures.
• Complete denture relines and repairs.
• Fabricate occlusal rims and custom trays.
• Bend wire for removable prosthetic appliances as needed.
• Maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and laboratory best practices.
• Cross-train in multiple laboratory departments to support team success.
• Serve as Associate Lab Manager when needed in the manager's absence.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, laboratory staff, and clinical teams.
• Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience fabricating full and partial dentures from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of removable prosthetic fabrication techniques.
• Ability to successfully complete a hands-on bench assessment.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental laboratory.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience with same-day denture workflows.
• Experience in a high-volume dental laboratory.
• Familiarity with cross-training in multiple laboratory disciplines.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Day shift during regular laboratory business hours
