At Papa, companion caregivers, also known as Papa Pals, are warm, caring individuals who provide part‑time companionship and assistance to older adults and families. Support includes help around the house, running errands, providing transportation, and most importantly—friendly company. As a caregiver in New Orleans, LA, you’ll make a positive impact in your community. We’re seeking kind, patient, and reliable people with a passion for helping others.

Benefits & Compensation

Earn up to $14.00/hr, with bonuses
Mileage reimbursement for transportation visits (availability varies by location)
Work on your own flexible schedule
Use the mobile app to choose from hourly visit opportunities, typically 2‑4 hours each, and create your own schedule around your life

No prior caregiving or healthcare experience required
Life experience caring for others, stay‑at‑home parents, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful, flexible work
Kind‑hearted, patient, and caring personality

Job Requirements

Age 21 or older
Ability to communicate in English
Valid U.S. issued driver’s license
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a motor vehicle report
Proof of valid vehicle insurance with your name on the policy
Access to a smartphone
Access to a vehicle [VEHICLE_YEAR] or newer
Available to work 2 or more hours per week
