Vote By Mail Operator
Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is hiring for a Vote By Mail Operator. The ideal candidate will have good organizational and computer skills, along with being able to work extended hours through the project, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: VBM Operators
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Range: $17/hr
Hours: 8am-5pm with availability to work OT and some weekends during election time
Job Duties
- Conduct signature verification on vote by mail ballots
- Assist with preparing, receiving and processing vote by mail ballots
- Arrange and maintain organization of vote by mail ballots and mail trays
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
- Ability to follow oral and written procedures
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to remove and replace trays of envelopes at a height of 65 inches
- Able to work extended hours if needed
