Personal Assistant & Lifestyle Manager
Location: Manhattan, NYC (with summers at the Long Island residence)
A warm, private family is seeking a polished, highly organized, and genuinely service-oriented Personal Assistant & Lifestyle Manager to support the Principals across their personal, family, and household life. This is a personal and lifestyle-focused role not a corporate or office-based position ideal for someone who takes real pride in creating ease, warmth, and order in a family's day-to-day life.
The right person is warm, family-oriented, and discreet, and genuinely enjoys being of service. They will work closely and personally with the Principals, becoming a trusted presence for them, their adult children, grandchildren, and guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing personal calendars, appointments, correspondence, and family scheduling
- Coordinating family gatherings, holidays, entertaining, and guest experiences
- Preparing residences for family visits and ensuring a welcoming, guest-ready home
- Overseeing household vendors, maintenance, walkthroughs, and seasonal home preparation
- Hands-on personal and household support, including errands, shopping, organizing, and provisioning
- Occasional warm, attentive support with grandchildren when requested
The ideal candidate:
- Has a genuine warmth and a family-first, personal-service approach
- Brings 5+ years supporting private individuals, families, or households (private/personal experience, rather than corporate or executive assistant backgrounds)
- Holds a Bachelor's degree
- Is exceptionally discreet, trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented
- Is flexible, humble, and happy to help wherever needed no task too big or small
- Holds a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
