Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional mannerPrepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and documenting information in the electronic medical records systemAssist physicians during exams and proceduresPerform X-rays as ordered by physiciansDispensing durable medical equipment including instructing patients on proper use of items and completing appropriate paperworkCollect and prepare lab specimens for transport and maintain proper documentationHandle patient inquiries, providing education on treatment plans and instructions, including entering proper documentationSterilize all equipment according to guidelines and cleaning treatment rooms to maintain a clean, safe working environmentOrdering and stocking inventory as necessary Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferredAt least one year of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting is required Proficiency with medical office equipment and basic clinic proceduresKnowledge of general medical terms and healthcare guidelinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach to careAbility to abide by OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
