Overview
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented National Sales Account Executive to join our growing team at a fast-growing, innovative out-of-home (OOH) media company headquartered in Brooklyn, NY.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with established agency and direct brand relationships, a passion for media and advertising, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building long-term partnerships, and is energized by identifying new opportunities and closing business.
As a National Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, managing the full sales cycle, and partnering with internal teams to deliver successful campaigns that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and expand an existing book of business while proactively identifying and closing new business leads.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Develop strategic prospecting plans to generate qualified leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate the value of our media offerings to agencies and brand partners.
- Build, manage, and strengthen client relationships to drive retention, repeat business, and increased revenue.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, campaign execution, and post-sale account management.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Production, Operations, and Executive Leadership, to ensure successful campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities; travel may be required.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, market conditions, and emerging opportunities within the media landscape.
- Develop innovative and strategic sales solutions in response to client needs, RFPs, and market opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline forecasting, and account information within CRM platforms.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5+ years of successful media sales experience, preferably within the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry.
- Existing relationships with media agencies, agency buyers, planners, and direct brand advertisers is a must.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and Mac OS environments.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
- On-target earnings (OTE): $175,000 - $250,000+
