Lead Scheduler

Job Description Leads and guides Practice Scheduling Associates in the performance of duties. Provides pre-surgical documentation for physicians and instructions for patients. Job Responsibility * Leads and guides scheduling staff. Communicates operating time, place and instructions to patient.

• Prepares patient chart for physicians’ review the day before surgery.
• Responds to patient inquiries related to surgery; acts as liaison between the

patient and physician regarding the surgery.

• Performs complex, diversified administrative and scheduling tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining and promoting efficiency within scope of

responsibility.

• Provides feedback to supervisor for performance appraisals.
• Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are
