Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care facility at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between units as needed to support staffing across the facility
• Participate in weekend coverage, with an expected 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
• Maintain compliance with facility dress code: solid navy blue scrub attire required for licensed nursing personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Telemetry RN experience required
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals within 50 miles may be considered at a different rate)
• Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background check hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers welcome — new-to-travel candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and stepdown-level patient acuity
