JOB DETAILS:

Employment Type: W2 Hourly

Job Duration: 12 Months Contract Role (Possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $29.00 p/h on W2

DESCRIPTION:

• 1-year of demonstrated laboratory experience
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products word, excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
• Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Experience working in an Analytical laboratory desired.
• Able to work in teams and in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills with ICP, IC, XRF, SEM, GC-FID & HPLC desired.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Testing following SOP, QC, ASTM or similar related test method/procedures
• Operate Analytical Equipment or Devices (ICP, IC, XRF, SEM, GC-FID, HPLC, etc.)
• Review data for quality trends and proper reports
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Digital Platforms (LIMS)
• Maintain proper housekeeping (5S) and safety
• Check e-mails for questions
• Follow quality procedures for log and other record keeping
