We offer excellent benefits and supply you with the tools you need to maximize your potential.Benefits include:Paid Time Off (PTO) Plan - Up to 96 hours of PTO in your first year + 8 company paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceRetirement Plans - 401K eligible employees can receive a company contribution up to 7%Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)CEFCU - Employees have access to services including payroll deductions, savings, accounts, loans, VISA card and moreAdditional Benefits include Supplemental life Insurance, Critical Illness + Accidental Insurance, ID WatchDog and discounted employee phone plansThe Customer Account Representative protects Accounts Receivable (A/R) of Wagner Equipment Co. while maintaining a congenial relationship with customers and inter-company personnel in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team."Pay Rate: $58,743.31 - $75,842.78 Annually Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Completes previous day's credit ratingsPrints follow up list from Wynne system or DBSPlans out call schedule for the dayMakes collection calls (10 to 20 each day)Helps internal customers with credit exceed calls and external customers with information about their accountSends collection letters, including: reminder letter, pre-COD, and ten-day demands letterNames and addresses file maintenance (name, address, and tax status changes)Prepares accounts when they are assigned to the Legal Account Specialist, including gathering credit information, invoice copies, and summary of the collection historyHandles incoming calls to give verbal credit approvals for rentalsResponds to management's inquiry as to account statusReconciles accountsPrepares and participates in account review meeting, including monthly A/R review meetingResearches accounts and prepares adjustments for zero wash refunds and reapplies misapplied or unapplied paymentsGathers facts about any disputes, refers the disputed issues to the appropriate department, follows up on the status of the dispute, and makes sure information is provided with the Credit Manager to enter into the dispute logOther duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED1+ years of credit or finance experiencePhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingSedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 poundsData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skillsSafety & Product KnowledgeBasic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and AccessIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ExcelWork Environment:Noise: QuietIndoorsOther Duties:Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
