Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.00-18.00-/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus (potential based on hours worked)

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. · Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
· Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
· Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
· Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
· Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
· Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
· Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
· Complete documentation and maintaining schedules
· Complete ongoing training and professional development

4-5 days per week, for a total of 25-30 hours per week - specific days and hours are flexible.

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Comfortable supporting shy individuals and building rapport
• Ability to drive for community outings (required)

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — we provide paid training and support.
