Principal Scientist, Computational Biology

Seeking a full-time Principal Scientist, Computational Biology to serve as a computational partner for oncology drug development programs, translating patient-derived data into biomarker hypotheses and decision-grade recommendations while building computational capabilities for the broader portfolio. Key Responsibilities Serve as the translational computational scientist for assigned oncology drug development programs, supporting the continuum from target validation through early clinical studies Shape biomarker strategy and patient selection hypotheses, analyzing multimodal datasets from oncology studies Design and deploy AI approaches for evidence integration and hypothesis generation across patient omics and genetic evidence Required Qualifications Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's with 6+ years; or Bachelor's with 8+ years Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting high-dimensional patient-derived molecular data in oncology Strong programming skills in R and/or Python, with experience in reproducible analysis and data visualization Working knowledge of the oncology drug development process, including target validation and early clinical development Experience with spatial transcriptomics and/or spatial proteomics, including familiarity with relevant analysis tools Virtual Vocations Inc
