Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Orangeburg, SC | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia interpretation , using bedside monitors with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities Rotate every other weekend as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement Float within scope to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs Document patient care and assessments using Epic electronic health record system Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates within 60 miles will be considered but are given lower priority Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in a community hospital setting Familiarity with Epic charting system First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply Why Join Us Join a newly developed unit with 24/7 house supervisor coverage and accessible leadership support during all shifts Complimentary on-site parking provided for the duration of your assignment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776495.
