Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 19-week contract covering winter needs. The role involves night shifts with a rotating schedule, providing critical patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient treatment.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards, including certifications and compliance.
• Support department functions during assigned shifts, including patient triage and stabilization.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid KS State or Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER experience.
• Have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate ability to work night shifts in a rotating schedule.
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including SSN, DOB, and RTO verification.
• Be able to provide at least one clinical reference.
