Position Overview Nemours Children’s Health – Florida is actively seeking a dedicated Pediatric Surgeon to join the team at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, Florida. The role will work alongside two other Pediatric Surgeons and receive support from 5 additional surgeons at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando. Eligible for a $50k sign‑on bonus. Position Highlights 1:3 call schedule with a robust team of pediatric surgeons; not first responder for trauma cases (handled by adult surgeons). 24/7 APP first call coverage and support from pediatric anesthesiologists and other subspecialties. Engage in cutting‑edge research and contribute to the advancement of pediatric surgical care. Participate in the Pediatric Residency program, shaping the next generation of pediatric surgeons. Access to a comprehensive array of specialty services at Lakeland Regional – outpatient cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, nephrology, urology, rheumatology, maternal fetal medicine; inpatient services include cardiology, MFM consults, PICU, general surgery medical directorship and neurology.
