Job Responsibilities

• Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide training for patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that support continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure that patients stay on the right track

Education

• Obtained a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
