Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess the unique needs of patients and devise individualized therapy programs aimed at fulfilling their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply validated interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with other occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nurses for holistic and comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide guidance and resources to patients and their loved ones regarding therapy approaches to enable continued advancement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Keep meticulous records of clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and advanced certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a requirement
