Position Details Position Title: Adjunct Instructor – Anthropology Department: Anthropology (College of Education and Behavioral Sciences) Type: Adjunct Faculty Location: All Campuses Start: Fall 2025 (begin as needed) Job Summary The Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminology at Troy University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Anthropology with preference given to those with expertise in cultural anthropology and/or linguistics. Successful candidates will be able to offer courses that expand and support our existing curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The position will include teaching up to 8 credit hours per semester. Responsibilities Teach up to 8 credit hours per semester in Anthropology courses. Develop and deliver course materials in person or online. Assess and communicate student performance. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in Anthropology. Established record of teaching effectiveness. Experience teaching online courses in Anthropology. Preferred Qualifications None specified. Other Information Work hours: To be determined. No driving required. No supervisory responsibilities.
