Program Manager

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Programs Manager to oversee both our School Pantry and Mobile Market programs. This role is responsible for managing program logistics, reporting, data tracking, volunteer coordination, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit program management, a passion for community service and the ability to lead and grow our programs to maximize impact. This is a full-time position. About the Mobile School Pantry Mobile School Pantry’s (MSP) mission is to provide nutritious, healthy food items to children and families at low-income schools in South Florida. MSP provides a way for students to be healthier, affording them the ability to concentrate and learn with a higher level of self-esteem. Primary Responsibilities Program Operations & Management Manage program schedules, distributions, and locations of School Pantry and Mobile Market programs. Lead communication and relationship management with partner schools to strengthen program impact and sustainability. Source and coordinate with food vendors to provide monthly volunteer lunches at School Pantry distributions, managing outreach, scheduling, and ongoing vendor relationships Administer annual family registration and impact survey processes, including form creation, distribution, data collection, and maintenance of accurate records across all programs. Maintain organized digital filing systems, program records, and distribution documentation across all programs. Attend and coordinate 1-3 in-person distributions per month at schools throughout Broward County, overseeing both pantry and Mobile Market operations. Data Tracking, Reporting & Compliance Serve as the primary administrator of the organization’s CRM, maintaining accurate records, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data integrity across programs. Collect and maintain accurate data on families served, food distribution, and program impact across all programs. Prepare and submit weekly reporting requirements for food distribution partners, including Farm Share and Project Lifeline Write and submit small grants, and review and provide feedback on grant writer submissions. Create impact reports and visual materials for meetings and community outreach, including preparing monthly and quarterly reports for grants, funders, and internal stakeholders. Track and analyze program data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery. Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinate volunteers to support School Pantry distributions and Mobile Market distributions. Recruit companies and local organizations to serve as volunteers. Represent MSP at community meetings and events Coordinate family communication via our messaging platform with families. Assist in developing newsletters and outreach materials to increase awareness and community participation. Experience and Qualifications Passion for food security, community service, and working with diverse populations. Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management or 2+ years of experience in program management in a related field Strong organizational and data management skills with experience using google workspace, databases, or CRM systems. Proficient in Google Suite and Excel, with experience making Google Slides presentations for reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with families, partners, and volunteers. Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and assisting with event setup as needed. Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus! You know that “doing good” isn’t always glamorous and that on a small team, you too will pitch in on the small stuff—whether that’s sharpening pencils, setting up for an event, answering phone calls, or helping behind the scenes to make the mission happen. Must have a license and a car to drive to School Pantry and Mobile Market distributions. (mileage reimbursement provided) Location and Compensation The Manager will primarily work remotely or from one of MSP’s two offices if needed. However, they will be expected to travel 2-3 times per week for the management of School Pantry and Mobile Market programs. MSP is a donor and grant-funded organization. The starting salary for this position is $60,000-$65,000, with consideration for experience. The benefits package includes health insurance, disability insurance and 2 weeks of PTO.
