Location Rochester, MN Position Summary The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership to all primary care support staff through direct supervision for nurses (RN/LPN) and indirect supervision for nursing assistants and medical assistants. This role develops high‑performing clinical support teams, ensures consistent clinical workflows, maintains regulatory compliance, advances quality improvement initiatives, and supports exceptional patient‑centered care. Working within CHSI’s dyad leadership model, the Clinical Services Manager partners with Site Managers to ensure high quality daily clinic operations through appropriate staffing, competency validation, workflow consistency, clinical training, and professional development, while collaborating with the Medical Director to promote evidence‑based clinical practice, patient safety, and quality outcomes. Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Leads nursing practice across CHSI locations Standardizes clinical workflows and nursing procedures Develops nursing policies and clinical support protocols Supports implementation of evidence‑based practices Oversees nursing competencies Leads nursing orientation and onboarding Staff Management Directly supervises RN and LPN staff Coaches and develops nursing leaders Completes performance evaluations Participates in hiring and onboarding Assists with succession planning Addresses performance concerns Builds a culture of accountability Dyad Leadership with Site Managers Participates in operational meetings Balances staffing needs with clinic operation Coordinates implementation of new workflows Solves clinical‑operational issues collaboratively Supports provider productivity Collaborates to improve patient access Coordinates staffing coverage during absences Clinical Infrastructure Develops clinical workflows Develops standards for the vaccine program compliance Completes reporting for referrals and improves workflows Develops and reviews standing orders Develops standards for clinical supplies Coordinates compliance of the infection control program Oversees clinical emergency preparedness Develops clinical documentation procedures and accountability Quality Improvement and Risk Management Monitors nursing quality metrics Participates in risk investigations Assists with FTCA readiness Participates in OSV preparation Monitors incident reporting Leads nursing quality improvement Audits nursing documentation Population Health Collaborates on chronic disease initiatives Supports care gap closure Oversees nursing outreach Supports care coordination Partners with Outreach & Enrollment (O&E) teams Uses Epic and Azara data to improve patient outcomes Regulatory Compliance HRSA OSHA CLIA HIPAA State nursing regulation Physical Abilities Ability to bend and crouch occasionally, sit continuously, and stand or walk frequently Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to use hands/arms, feet/legs for repetitive fine to large motor skill movements Education A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school is required. Licenses & Certifications Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse; Current Basic Life Support Certification. Experience Minimum three years of nursing experience; Program management and supervisory experience desirable; Experience in a primary care setting preferred.
