Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to support decision-making
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections
• Monitor cash flow and manage cash flow projections to optimize liquidity
• Coordinate and lead the annual external audit process
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial and operational objectives
• Stay current on accounting regulations and industry trends, and ensure compliance with relevant changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
