The Position

We are seeking a skilled, team-oriented Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside a premier, fellowship-trained shoulder surgeon, specializing in the comprehensive treatment of complex shoulder pathology.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical First Assisting: Serve as the first assist in shoulder surgeries across our designated hospital partners and outpatient surgical centers.
• Collaborative & Independent Clinic Care: Organize and co-treat patients alongside a surgeon, while also managing independent clinics to provide the best care possible at our Dedham, Waltham, and Woburn offices.
• Patient Continuity of Care: Act as a vital point of contact for patients by promptly returning calls and managing electronic messages regarding clinical inquiries, post-op care, and treatment plans.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated orthopedic surgery experience (specifically within shoulder or upper extremity pathology) is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Active PA or NP license in the state of Massachusetts
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner. You must be able to build quick rapport with patients and families.
• Teamwork: A strong desire to collaborate closely within a high-performing, fast-paced clinical and surgical team.
