By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a rewarding workplace with a strong sense of community.Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team to install and maintain machinery and equipment in industrial establishment.Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour + $4.00 Shift Premium + 4,000 sign on bonusSchedule & Shift: Monday - Friday (5 days x 8 hours), 1:30PM - 9:30PMThe day to day...Safe operation of machines and toolsLive and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 PrinciplesRead blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresDismantles machinesMoves machinery and equipmentAssembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram railsAligns machines and equipmentAssembles machines, and bolds, welds and rivets or otherwise fastens them to structuresRepairs and lubricates machines and equipmentComplete preventative and total productive maintenanceThe qualifications...High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredMinimum two years industry experience and/or trainingStrong language, mathematical, reasoning and computer skills neededAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsThe work environmentAble to frequently walk, sit and use hands to handle or feelAble to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionallyMust wear required Personal Protective EquipmentApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.About AriensCoSince 1933, the AriensCo name has been associated with reliable, durably crafted, high-performance outdoor power equipment.
