Leasing Agent

Our client, a residential property management organization in Florence, SC, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join their team. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who enjoys working with people, supporting daily property operations, andhelping prospective residents find the right home. As a Leasing Agent, you will serve as a first point of contact for prospects and residents, support leasing and administrative processes, and contribute to maintaining a positive and professional community environment. Key Responsibilities Answer, screen, and return incoming phone calls for multiple properties in a timely and professional manner Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and current residents Schedule property showings using the property management system Assist prospects throughout the leasing process with professionalism and attention to detail Communicate with residents regarding property-related questions, concerns, and updates Support daily administrative and operational tasks for the Property Management team Assist with property inspections and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager regarding work orders, inspections, and unit turns Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong customer service mindset with a professional demeanor Ability to handle conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Knowledge of property leasing or legal administrative processes is a plus Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience preferred Schedule & Employment Type Full-time, in-person Must be able to commute to Florence, SC Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $17/hr - $20/hr Paid Time Off: 2 weeks PTO Retirement: 401(k) with employer match up to 6% after one year of employment FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
