Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN, 37218. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for technology, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Set up and operate laser cutting machines according to specifications and production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Tube laser experience required.
- Proven experience as a laser operator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting technology and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
