Are you an experienced business leader who knows how to turn strategy into execution? We want YOU on our team! MetalQuest is seeking a Business Analyst to help lead our continued growth and strengthen the connection between operations, financial performance, customer communication and business development. This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic, hands-on business professional who understands manufacturing and can connect the big picture to day-to-day execution. The Business Analyst will help shape business strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, improve profitability, optimize resources, strengthen customer and vendor relationships, and ensure the organization is positioned for long-term success.

What You’ll Do

• Vision & Strategy
• • Help develop and execute MetalQuest’s long-term operational and business strategy, with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tied to measurable KPIs.
  • Partner with the VP of Finance to evaluate customers, contracts, partnerships, and strategic opportunities, balancing revenue potential with capacity, resources, costs, and profitability.

• Financial & Business Performance
• • Partner with the VP of Finance to develop manufacturing financial plans, monitor performance, drive corrective actions, and build ROI models for capital investments.
  • Anticipate business challenges and develop practical, sustainable solutions in a rapidly changing environment.

 

•   Leadership
• • Provide strategic leadership and direction to production teams across both facilities, ensuring strong cross-departmental communication and alignment to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Coordinators to work with customers to optimize inventory, identify long-term capacity needs, and develop risk-mitigation strategies.

 

Qualifications & Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, business development, or a related field, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency with financial analysis, inventory management, and operational metrics.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage financial performance.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with employees, customers, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Embraces a mindset of continuous growth and improvement, both professionally and personally, by seeking opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and become more effective in their role.

Physical Conditions

• Primarily office-based, with regular visits to the production shop floor and manufacturing areas.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and safely navigate active production areas.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
• Occasional travel between company and supplier facilities may be required, typically 2–4 times per year or as needed.
