The HR Generalist is responsible for partnering with the business on a variety of HR initiatives that will engage and grow talent, build employee loyalty through our employee value proposition, and drive the people strategy through operational effectiveness.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support HR initiatives and projects globally

• Reviews and processes all personnel transaction forms for employees using Workday (i.e. new hires, terminations, transfers, salary increases) and maintains Global Employee Database with current employee / position, salary information and documentation.

• Track compliance to corporate, client and account policies and procedures.

• Refine account internal processes and workflows, develop training materials and conduct training with staff.

• Develops ad hoc reports as requested.

• Implement HR programs within assigned businesses

• Analyze data and metrics in order to inform strategic business planning

• Coach managers, create and execute talent initiatives

• Collaborates with local, national, and international HR teams to implement policy updates, process improvements, streamline onboarding practices and provide improved training programs.

• Analyzes and resolves complex employee relations issues

• Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and recommends action plans

• Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency

Key Competencies:

• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities

• Superior relationship skills

• HRIS proficiency (Workday a plus)

• Intermediate or above proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Coaching and dispute resolution skills

• Facilitation skills to execute training

• Strong business acumen

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field

Important Experience:

• 5-7 years HR experience with diverse employee population and strong employee relations experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Excel Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.

• Highly collaborative with clients and co-workers with ability to engage with remote and international team members. Strong interpersonal skills. Reliable knowledge of State and Federal employment law, experience or exposure to international labor law and employee relations issues a plus

• Experience in real estate, financial or professional services a plus

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
