Position Description: We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction Team in our Cleveland office. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least ten years of experience on construction projects. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include: Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community Maintain excellent client relations Conduct field inspections Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity Mentor junior staff Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations Provide design/technical expertise to project Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks Generate additional sales through business development activities Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings Assist with project reports and technical presentations Attend client, staff and project meetings Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications Maintain a safe working environment Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Skills/Experience: High school diploma Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience 10+ years of related engineering or construction management experience About Wade Trim: Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
